The UK's largest gay city, Brighton, has elected a (Labour) Muslim Mayor. His name Mohammed Asaduzzaman. Brighton holds a two-day Pride Festival this August, will Mr Mayor be there to cheer it on?

I shall be watching this one with interest as Brighton is just 30 minutes from where I live. It used to be such a lovely place but get in and out now as quickly as possible.
