When you pit 2 factions against one another, you can possibly get civil unrest. We Know from the last few years, that if we carry out civil unrest, it gives governmental police state powers carte blanchè to round up swathes of the community. Islam was already a target, with the Bliar and Bush years. Now perhaps, this could be a cynical move to create mass division among populations. With the added side effect of bringing moral minded people together..
