Wearing masks forever!

Boris Johnson is expected to confirm he is confident the majority of the remaining Covid restrictions in England can be lifted from 19 July. Making face masks voluntary and ending 1m-plus social distancing and QR code sign-ins at restaurants will be among his press conference announcements. But some people are saying they WANT to keep wearing masks. Why?

It's reported that Boris Johnson will lift almost all "legal" Covid restrictions from July 19 under a 'freedom plan' to be published next week. The Prime Minister has all but confirmed that he will give the green light for reopening mid-month as he underlined the success of the vaccine programme. It is expected he will announce the end of social-distancing, mandatory face masks and quarantine for vaccinated travellers from July 19.

Be very wary of what it being claimed - it does not look like Freedom to me.

Are YOU a "Covid variant factory"?

They want to marginalise and demonise those people who do not want to take the experimental gene therapy. A prominent Doctor de-humanises us by called us "covid variant factories" - this cannot end well.

England fast bowler Ollie Robinson is free to play cricket again immediately despite being given an eight-match ban for historical racist and sexist tweets. He has apologised and been fined. I think this is wrong, people should NOT be subject to this social media star chamber but the only way to guarantee that is NOT to be on it. Is that fair?

The NHS welcomes back a doctor convicted of manslaughter

A doctor convicted of the manslaughter of a six-year-old boy is now fit to practise without any restrictions, a medical tribunal has ruled. Dr Hadiza Bawa-Garba was previously found guilty of gross negligence manslaughter over the death of Jack Adcock at Leicester Royal Infirmary.

She was struck off the medical register but reinstated following an appeal. She has been working under close supervision, with several conditions imposed, since November 2020. However, the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service (MPTS) said the conditions should be revoked with immediate effect, after finding her fitness to practise is no longer impaired.

The NHS needs shut down.

Entertainers encourage you to take the jab - but will YOU obey?

Celebrities including actors and pop stars are fronting a video campaign urging people to get their Covid jab. It sees West End and Emmerdale actress Sandra Marvin and Nicola Roberts, of Girls Aloud, perform The Rhythm Of Life, from 1966 musical Sweet Charity.

They are joined by actors Sir Derek Jacobi, Sex Education's Asa Butterfield and comedian David Walliams. A tap-dancing Jim Broadbent concludes the song, saying "just get a vaccination.

Some Covid measures should be kept in place in England beyond 19 July - when all legal restrictions are due to be lifted, a doctors' union says. The British Medical Association is calling for the continued use of face masks and new ventilation standards. It says it is crucial to protect the NHS, health and education amid what it says is an alarming rise in cases.

 

Yes, Arab slave traders raided Britain for white slaves.

A Conservative councillor who faced a probe for sharing a Facebook meme saying 'white slaves were sold for centuries' has been cleared of misconduct. 

Pauline Culley posted a picture depicting white women being restrained by men in Arabian dress to her councillor profile at the height of the Black Lives Matter movement last summer. The image had text over it which read:

'All our ancestors sold slaves, took slaves or were slaves. You're not special.'

The meme is historically accurate and this Councillor should NEVER have been put on public trial. I explain why.
